Not all services listed will meet the needs and values of all individuals & families.  These sites are not presented in order of quality or preference.

National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: 1-800-273-TALK (8255)

Crisis Text Line: Text START to 741-741

The HOPE App on iTunes: Free and easy to use resource that provides the user with information on warning signs, what to say, as well as information on local resources. Throughout the app the user can instantly call the national suicide prevention lifeline as well. The HOPE app is to be used in conjunction with mental health treatment and should not serve as a substitute for working with a mental health professional.

A program designed to streamline the application process for the intensive mental health services for children, ages 5-17, throughout Broome County. These children have difficulties in their life domains – at home, school, and the community. These children and adolescents are at risk for hospitalization and/or placement in residential care. Child must have a DSM V mental health diagnosis that can be confirmed and must live in Broome County.
