Hello, my name is Shannon Fallon and I am the Special Events Coordinator for the Catholic Education Foundation of the Southern Tier. I am writing to you today to inform you of an amazing fundraiser that benefits the Catholic Schools of Broome County. The Don Hengel Memorial Sports Classic is in its 11th year, and each year raises funds to support our Catholic Schools. The Hengel is two events rolled into one great fundraiser. The 5-0 Hall of Fame dinner will take place Wednesday, June 17th at Traditions at the Glen. All are welcome to attend this fun evening of food, friends, awards and our celebrity keynote speaker. On Thursday, June 18th the Tournament will take place at Traditions, featuring 30 teams all accompanied by a celebrity sports figure. To register for either of these events please see the brochure below or visit http://www.broomecatholicschools.org/events/.
One of the most exciting aspects of this tournament is the Hole Sponsorship program. By purchasing a hole sponsorship, you can designate exactly where your donation goes. Choose which school, sports team, club or program your child is involved in or you feel most passionate about, and The Hengel Sports Classic will then match your donation! Your hole sponsorship includes a custom fairway sign which will line the golf course the day of the tournament.
If you have any questions regarding this event, please feel free to contact me at 607.231.1440. I sincerely appreciate your consideration to participate in this event.
